A beautiful Cornish driftwood plank with a couple of pieces of old nail, nail holes, tiny bits of stone and bags of character. This has been drying in the studio for quite a while so today I decided to finally do something with it. Sometimes deciding how to use a piece of wood can have me thinking for ages but this one seemed pretty obvious... after sanding off all the rough parts, I decide the best way to decorate this piece was with LOVE. Large outline letters filled in with lots of little tiny hearts. It's hand decorated using a pyrography pen, it measures approximately 35.5cm by 7cm and is just over 1cm thick. This can either have a brass D-ring attached to the back or alternatively small holes can be added so it can be roped up to hang on the wall.
