A wall decoration in honour of the barrel here in Bude. This is made up of two seperate driftwood pieces... the first was a small piece which I cut into tiny blocks and sanded down really smooth so the grain pattern came out beautifuly and then hand decorated using a pyrography pen. They were then attached to a driftwood plank which was sanded just enough to take the rough edges off but still leave plenty of character. I have no idea how long these two were bouncing around in the surf but I love that they have little tiny bits of stone stuck in them.
